My Journey as a Sound Therapist with the RestStation Lounge for Veterans

2/25/18

Oxygen;  Duration: 32:05

This session consists of ocean waves mostly.  You hear them crashing on the shore.  You hear them lapping at a boat.  You feel like you are floating and it sounds like your ears underwater at one point.  You hear them gently caressing a shore.

I immediately calm and my mind takes me to the ocean.  Next thing I know I’m taking a deep breath as I think of how I feel there and how the salt air smells.  The salt air releases negativity and just the memory of it will do the same thing.

It took me on different levels of breathing.  I felt oxygenated from the inside/out if that makes sense.  When you relax, you relax into diaphragmatic breathing.  It’s funny because we do that naturally as soon as we fall asleep.  Even if you are a chest breather (a lot of people are), when you fall asleep you revert to your natural breathing state which is from the diaphragm.

This session helped me to relax and I slept really good when I went to bed afterwards.

Neuralgia and Nerve Inflammation;  Duration 41:56

During this session, my feet were crossed left over right.  There wasn’t really any vibration coming through the Lounge; although the sound seemed to be everywhere.

I felt like a tingling blanket/towel (maybe a 1×1′ square) in different places on my body at different times.  There were noticeable energetic pattern shifts where it took me from one level to another emotionally.  For instance, where I went from calm and relaxed to active and thinking.  No thought to planning thoughts.

I was having twinges of pain in my neck on the left side earlier today.  My legs were feeling restless and twitchy like when you have to swing your foot or they just went settle down.

The session seemed to calm all of that down somehow.  The sound just felt like it was inviting me on a journey and I went.

I’ve been writing about this experience for awhile now and I haven’t heard very much back from people.  Please take a moment and drop me a note or a question about my experience?  Or how it might pertain to you?  What benefits you might experience from just one session with the RestStation Lounge?

Maybe you would like to sign up for a FREE session to try it out.  Please contact me below and we’ll set it up.

Etheric Sweep;  Duration:  48:09

This is one of my favorite sound sessions on the RestStation Lounge.  I have done this same one for the past 4 days in a row now.  I usually do it at the end of my work day.  Each time I do this session, I literally feel like someone or something is sweeping over my energy field (or body) and gathering up all the stuff that isn’t mine and taking it away.

You know what I’m talking about here?  I’m referring to the people throughout my day who feel they need to tell me negative things or gossip.  People who are angry and want to share that with someone; even though I tell them I am not the person to receive that or offer something positive back to them.

I immediately feel calmer after the Etheric Sweep and more relaxed; but it’s more than that!  It’s like a coming home or back to my Self.  Like all of a sudden, a realization like, “Oh.  There I AM!”

It really helps me to let go of my day and all the energies associated with work, interactions with others, traffic, driving, frustrations and things that didn’t go quite the way I wanted them too.

I think about Veterans when I do this session and about how it could help them to release the past.  And in the midst of that release, rediscover themselves in the process.

I will continue to do this one, among others for that feeling specifically of coming home to myself after being away for awhile.

It also helps me let go of disappointment of others who don’t follow through or do what they say they will.  Judgement.  Expectations.

I think it increases my sense of well-being enough that it also increases my levels of peace and patience.  And trust me, I am NOT a patient woman.

Depression Lifting;  Duration:  20:00

I came home from work really stressed out today.  Somebody said something to me in the middle of the day and it completely changed my energy.

I could feel it dampen my spirit like something was thrown over me to tamp down my light.  Work was frustrating and intense this week.

This session started to help me relax and lift the cloud off me energetically.  I felt lighter afterwards and the sounds were soothing and calming, helping me to relax.

I want to be uplifted more;  so I’m going to add another one on top of it.

Gong Bath;  Duration:  22:13

This session started with someone toning.  I wasn’t expecting that and wasn’t really into it.  I was expecting a gong bath.  Then there was deep breathing and I thought that was a little creepy.

Then the gong started and it all changed.  The power, vibration and frequency of the gong is amazing.  It goes right through you in waves and lifts you up.

Then came the signing bowls.  They sounded as if they were metal bowls which have a different feel to them than crystal bowls.  I find them to be more grounding and balancing.

When the sounds of the ocean came in on top of that, I felt like I was home.  I immediately relaxed into the vibe and could actually feel my chakras opening and balancing out.

I ended up with goosebumps all over me and the tingling that comes as your vibrational frequency is raised.  This was just what I needed to turn my day around, lift my spirit and vibration, and energize me to move forward.  Perfect!!!!

Collagen Building Frequency Healing;  Duration:  33:33

The first time I did this session was a very different feeling from today.  I felt antsy and twitchy while it was going on.  I never actually relaxed.  At least it didn’t feel like it to me.  It felt more energizing.

I had twitchy pain in different areas of my body such as my legs, hands, vagina and spleen area of my stomach.  That was unexpected!  I found myself wondering what that could mean.

I’ll go look in the mirror and see if I notice a difference in my face; but I felt this session much more in my body than in my face like the last time I did it.

Looking in the mirror closely right now the appearance of fine lines around my eyes especially and laughter lines around my mouth were less prominent and looked reduced.

Blood Cleanser I – Cleanse, Purify, Detoxify, Balance and Stimulate Circulation;  Duration:  32:51

I’ve been having cramps in my legs a lot lately.  I don’t know why, but I thought it might have something to do with circulation.  I thought this might help.

The sound was extremely annoying, high-pitched like a jack hammer and kept pounding away.  As the session progressed it dropped an octave, but stayed consistently the same.   The only changes were in octaves.

I almost turned it off a couple of times as it felt really annoying to me.  There were no vibro-acoustic frequencies coming through the Lounge at all for this session.

I didn’t notice any help or difference in the leg and hand cramps I’ve been experiencing.  I was hoping it would help.

I doubt if I will ever do this one again as I didn’t enjoy the sound at all and there were no frequencies coming through the Lounge.

General Inflammation Healing Frequencies – Duration: 30:00

Most people have inflammation in their bodies somewhere.  I’m one of them.  It shows up as arthritis, painful joints, puffy skin, bloating, edema and in more ways than that.  It is not healthy for your body.

The session started and I had initially crossed my legs.  It didn’t feel right, so I uncrossed them and it felt better.

How many times have you had a feeling that something didn’t feel right and you didn’t change it?  For whatever reason you didn’t “trust your gut” and follow your intuition.

I didn’t notice anything extraordinary.  At one point in time, it felt like I got one of those inside/out chills.  I remember the last time I did a session for inflammation.

It felt like this heat coming out from the inside of my body.  This didn’t feel like that.  It actually felt the opposite of that.

It felt like a pins and needles feeling; so tingling all over my stomach, chest and neck.

I could feel the sound waves traveling through my body, but only felt the tingling in my chest, neck area.  I was noticing the interesting thoughts that were coming up for me during this session as well.

If we are treating the body, mind and spirit (and we are) then those thoughts are important and trying to get my attention.  I allow them to be and note the thoughts and/or memories that come up for me during a session.  Then I intentionally release them.  Just let them go.

Collagen Building Frequency Healing – Duration:  33:33

I thought I would channel some of the healing sound frequencies on YouTube through the Lounge and see what the results were and how it felt.  I especially wanted to see if it felt different from the programs that come with the Lounge.

I didn’t sleep well last night and my face looked tired this morning.  So, I thought this might be a nice way to wake up at 5:00 a.m.

The sounds and vibrations were higher and more centered from the heart space up on my body.  The frequencies were light and uplifting and tingly.  I especially felt it on my face,

There was like a layer of vibration over my skin.  It is hard to describe as it felt like some kind of living organism.  You know how suddenly your hair will stand on end in response to a vibrational frequency in your vicinity?  It felt kind of like that.  But of course my hair wasn’t standing on end.

This was uplifting and enjoyable.  It was a great way to start my day.  I just took a look in the mirror and my face looks more relaxed, brighter somehow and has fewer lines/wrinkles.  I say that because I don’t look tired and drawn anymore.

My skin looks like it does right after getting a facial.  You know that refreshed, younger and almost dewy look.  I’ll do this one again.

It was available on YouTube.

My next session with the RestStation Lounge …

Organ Cleanse and Detox – Liver, Kidneys, Lymph – Duration: 24:18

I thought this might help to clear toxins and assist in drainage of the lymphatic system.  It is cold and flu season and people all around me are sick.  I have a desk job during the day temporarily, and notice that I am getting some leg cramps and restless legs from all the sitting during the day.  I am usually more active.  Normally, I would go for a hike or a walk for about 2 hours.

At first I noticed the vibrations were a rolling frequency that felt like it rolled in ovals up/down my lower legs especially.  I know from my work with acupressure and acupuncture points that it was focused on my liver, kidney and spleen points in my lower legs.  I found myself wondering why there?

There are larger clusters of lymph glands in your groin, armpits, neck and the front of the chest area.  it didn’t seem to be focusing on the lymph areas (in my mind) but more more on the liver and kidneys.

At times the vibrations were strong.  It would start strong in a circular wave pattern and get less strong as the pattern progressed, again mostly focused on my legs/lower legs.

I felt different twinges in muscles as they released.  Again, thirsty after this session.  I stayed awake for the whole thing!

I drank 20 ounces of water to magnify the frequency waves that I knew were still working in my body.  That’s one of the great things about the Lounge.  Once the vibro-acoustic field is set with a pattern, I only have to listen to the sound (music) again on ear buds to remind my body of the previous vibro-acoustic frequency pattern; and it acts like a reset button.  It brings back that part of the session, even if I am not laying on the Lounge at the time.  This is kind of like an energetic recall patterning.

My next session with the RestStation Lounge…

Liver Treatment – Duration: 22:50

I thought this session might help to support my liver function and to help me on an emotional level.  The liver is often associated with the emotion of anger in the body.

The session was relaxing first of all.  It was calming and soothing which is a very helpful opposite energy and emotion for anger.

I crossed my feet and felt the vibro-acoustic waves flowing through and around my body.  I can’t say I had anything earth-shattering happen;  but I did get off the Lounge with an increased sense of well-being and calmness.

I did not have that when I laid down on the Lounge before the session.

My paired session with this one was Oxygen – Duration:  32:05

I’ve started trying to pair different sessions together to see what will happen when I layer different energetics and frequencies together, as I would in an individual sound session with me.

The sound treatment started with waves crashing on a shore.  I remember thinking I would be breathing deeply of the salt air and feeling the sand between my toes.

I did feel my breathing slow down and become deeper.  It felt relaxing and comfortable.  I felt at home and at rest.  Before I knew it I was using deep belly breaths like you do when you are falling asleep or deep in meditation.

The next thing I know, I woke up!  In my experience doing sound sessions with clients, I know that when they fall asleep during a session, it is a way for the healing frequencies to bypass the mental aspect of the mind and go much deeper into the subconscious and the energy body for an in-depth healing to take place.

When I woke up, I felt relaxed and refreshed like I had a much longer nap than 20 minutes.

I felt the two sessions combined helped to shift me into a better place emotionally and my energy was much calmer the next few days.

I mentioned before that I’m looking for some Veterans who want to experience the vibro-acoustics of the RestStation Lounge for a trial period in February, 2018.  If this is you or someone you know, please reach out to me through the contact form below or on my Facebook page and let me know.  Let’s get you scheduled to have an amazing experience.  You won’t regret the decision to try this.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

My next session with the RestStation Lounge was …

Neuralgia and Nerve Inflammation – Duration:  41:56

When this session started, I remember thinking how warm it was making me feel throughout my body.  It’s interesting because the covering on the lounge is vinyl, so oftentimes when you first lay on down, it can be cold depending on the outside temperature.  It quickly warms up though; and I put a blanket over me.  But initially for about 2-3 minutes it feels cool.

It was a warmth that was coming from the inside of my body to the outside kind of thing.  I drifted off into the sound.

I remember thinking that I didn’t want to fall asleep and wanted to be aware of the shifts happening not only in my body but in my energy field as well.

I still have this pain in my right lung.  I’ve had it for over a week now.  It felt like a pulled muscle at first, but with the work I’ve been doing on the Lounge it would have helped that already.  It literally feels like something penetrating through the front of my chest and coming out the backside.  I thought I might have a cracked rib, but couldn’t figure out how that would have happened.  So I figured a muscle strain.  It hurts to breathe.

I was hoping my session would resolve this.  It hasn’t happened yet.  I almost called the doctor today as it was worse this morning.

I did have a pain in my left foot from being on my feet since 6am until about midnight.  The session really helped this, so that told me that was nerve inflammation and resultant pain.  If I look at the emotional aspects of it … feminine side, caught in the past … I know it has to do with going back to work full-time for someone else.

After this session, the pain in my foot was gone as soon as I got up from the Lounge.  That was outstanding!

My next session with the RestStation Lounge —

Muscle Pain and Injury;  Duration:  52:42m

I chose this session because I had been hurt.  I pulled a muscle from my armpit across my chest.  It hurt to breathe.  My muscles were incredibly sore just sitting at rest.  I had bruises.  The muscle from under my arm across my chest was in agony and I couldn’t take a deep breath.  I found myself moaning in pain without realizing it.

I thought I would see if I could feel any immediate relief or results from doing this session on the Lounge.

Well, I fell asleep.  I wouldn’t have thought I would.

I noticed myself getting goosebumps on my arms and legs again during the session, which I thought was interesting because I was thinking about it being from the sound and vibration as I wasn’t cold.

The next thing,  I woke up because the sound and vibration had stopped.

My muscle pain isn’t completely gone; but it is a lot less severe than it was when I laid down on the Lounge.    I went to bed.

The next morning, I noticed my bruises had spots of yellow in them which indicate healing is progressing.  Before my session, they were only black and blue.

My chest still hurt when I took a breath, but it was no longer a shallow breath.  I wasn’t moaning if I moved anymore.  I put a topical cream on the muscle that was the most painful (yet less than it was before my session) and went to work.

Later that day, I realized I was breathing better and the pain was continuing to lessen.  I know this is because of the session I did on the Lounge; as that was the only thing I had done differently for this sprain/strain.
